Welcome to Falling Lakes Hostel, we are adventure and nature enthusiasts who are keen to show you what Plitvice Lakes National Park and its surrounding mountains have to offer. We are your guide if you’re looking for the total local experience.

Nestled in a beautiful valley bordering the national park and between two mountains our hostel is ideally situated to fully experience the karst topography that has created a vast interconnected lake system and its surrounding old growth forests.

At Falling Lakes you’ll feel immediately at ease in our homey and laidback environment. Our spacious and fully equipped kitchen invites people to cook and socialize. We are a no fuss place for people who love the outdoors and are looking to escape the city to meet like-minded people with a born wanderlust. Come hiking with us, roast some marshmallows and gaze at the stars, or simply hang out and enjoy a locally brewed beer in our common room.

We are easy to get to. Whether you’re coming from Zagreb in the north or Zadar/Split in the south, just get off in the town of Korenica. The town of Korenica is the bus stop just outside of the National Park. From there follow directions to our hostel, a mere 5 min walk to the hostel. See our website for detailed directions.
